The shortlist for the IPM Awards 2012 is now available online – click here to view it.
Our corps of judges – more than 100 senior practitioners from across the promotional marketing industry – engaged in heated discussions over the merits of some 330 entries across more than 30 categories to put together the shortlist which you'll now find on our site.
The nominations are listed alphabetically by campaign name, and also include the names of the agencies and brand owners which worked on them. If there is a number in brackets after the campaign name, then that indicates that that campaign has received that many nominations in total.
Being nominated is a major achievement in itself, although it does not necessarily mean a campaign has actually won an award.
Indeed, who actually gets Bronze, Silver and Gold – or one of the even-more coveted special Awards, including the Grand Prix, the Agency of the Year, the Brand Owner of the Year or the Consumer Award – will not be revealed until the IPM Awards Gala Dinner on 12 June 2012. The dinner, hosted by renowned quick-fire comedian Tim Vine, kicks off at 6.15pm and is being held at the prestigious London Hilton on Park Lane.
Bookings made before 4 May 2012 will attract a significant discount – see the booking form for details, or contact Sian Bucknor on 020 8699 9801, e-mail sian.bucknor@gmail.com
As ever, winning an IPM award is the only way that UK campaigns can qualify to be entered into the IMC European Awards and the worldwide MAAW Globes Awards. IPM Awards winners will be contacted after the ceremony with the details of how they can enter these two prestigious award programmes.
Good luck to all of the brands, agencies and service partners behind the campaigns which feature on our 2012 nominations list, and here's hoping that 2012 is the year you prove that your work is the best of the best, not just in the UK, but potentially in Europe and even the whole world!
Is 2012 your year to win?
