Neil helps employers and senior staff resolve employment and HR disputes, such as those arising from disgruntled employees (some of whom may have fair complaints), ex-employees who submit tribunal claims or try to poach clients, or problems arising from TUPE transfers or whistleblowing. He guides clients through these problems with a calm, experienced and focused approach honed over 20 years of advising clients and conducting litigation.

Most importantly, he helps avoid problems occurring in the first place, with sensible solutions to every day problems. These include help with redundancy procedures, drafting contracts of employment, policies and procedures and carrying out employment health checks.

He is actively involved with the Employment Lawyers’ Association and is a member of the Editorial Board for the Association’s journal, ELA Briefing.  He is happy to provide in-house lectures for clients on key employment issues.
