Phil is a business psychologist and Director of Thompson Dunn Ltd., providing management assessment and development services. He consults for a range of global, European and SME clients.  Prior to qualifying as a psychologist, Phil worked in a variety of sales and marketing focused roles within the media industry – book publishing export sales, online marketing and subscription data sales.

Phil specializes in providing rigorous psychological assessment of short-list candidates for senior executive recruitment, offering recommendation on candidate suitability and leadership potential.  His other main focus is delivering Career Transition (outplacement) services to exiting executives and running group career support workshops.  He consults for organisations on strategic downsizing activities to ensure optimum organizational performance can be sustained, and his coaching services are tailored to supporting remaining executives to deliver this.
