IPM Diploma is 30 years old in 2012

December 21, 2011

In 2012, the IPM Diploma will be 30 years old, and the organisation is planning a series of celebrations to mark the event.
The first ever graduation ceremony for what was then the ISP Sales Promotion Diploma was held in 1982, with 42 people – out of 59 who submitted work – being awarded the coveted certificate.

The Diploma has evolved considerably since those early days, and, following last year’s change in name from the Institute of Sales Promotion to the Institute of Promotional Marketing, is now know as the IPM Diploma in Promotional Marketing.

The IPM is now looking to re-establish contact with some of the graduates from the early years, and is appealing for people who were awarded the ISP diploma in the 1980s and 1990s to get in touch with their current contact details. If you received your ISP diploma during this period, please email Martin Croft, the IPM's head of communications, at martinc@theipm.org.uk.
