IPM International Diploma Overview

The IPM International Diploma is considered to be the best possible grounding for those responsible for running promotions of any sort.

It involves a series of assignments and a set brief being completed by candidates in their own time, and in their own homes, over a six month period.  International candidates can choose to attend an Immersion Day and Tutorial in London should they wish to.

Naturally, we understand that for most international candidates this will not be possible so alternative arrangements are made to suit the candidate, offering support where possible.  Please remember that this is a distance learning course and is designed to suit and fully support overseas candidates.

The course runs with an early submission of the first couple of modules to ensure candidates receive feedback before the completion of the remaining modules and set brief.

Aim of the IPM International Diploma

The IPM International Diploma has been developed jointly by the IMCC and the IPM to provide a good overall introduction to Integrated Promotional Marketing and is a qualification recognised by the industry at large.  It is the aim of the IPM International Diploma to increase standards of professionalism in the industry and provide a benchmark for employers.

The IPM International Diploma will give candidates the basic foundation knowledge necessary to:

  • Appreciate the role of Promotions in Integrated Marketing Communications
  • Plan, instigate and manage effective Integrated Promotional Marketing concepts with confidence
  • Effectively brief and coordinate the various elements and suppliers involved in Integrated Promotional Marketing campaigns

Who the IPM International Diploma is designed for
