James's team is responsible for maintaining the
CAP and BCAP Codes, enforced by the Advertising Standards Authority. He
specialises in data protection / privacy and misleading advertising, and his
recent work has included ensuring that the CAP Code is aligned with the General
Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018.
