Kimberley-Clark launches Pull-Ups potty training bus tour

Wednesday September 4, 2013 at 10:17am
Kimberley-Clark, manufacturer of Huggies Pull-Ups, is launching a UK nationwide tour of retailers with a custom-built potty training school bus. The iconic American-style yellow bus has been commissioned by the company to help educate parents with children who are potty training. The bus will visit key supermarkets during their baby events from until the end of September 2013. The bus will be hosted by potty training experts giving out advice, free samples and footfall-driving money-off vouchers. The Huggies Pull-Ups tour is supported by an integrated campaign which includes TV, print, digital and PR; this follows a substantial investment by the manufacturer into the childcare category in 2013. UK brand manager, Sarah Gamble, says: “The Pull-Ups tour bus brings the graduation theme of our TV campaign to life showing that with reward and support every child can move confidently through the potty training process and graduate to Big Kid underwear with the help of Huggies Pull-Ups.” She adds: “Our aim is to equip parents and retailers with as much information around our products as possible. That’s why we have invested in a dual focussed experiential programme that not only engages and educates parents on how to tackle this stage in their child’s development, but also supports our retailers to drive sales in store.” Gamble concludes: “New parents enter the category constantly and are often confused about which products to use, failing to distinguish between nappies and training pants is common, the tour will tackle this issue head on, driving awareness of the benefits and difference between nappies and Huggies Pull-Ups and Pull-Ups Night-time.” For more information about the new Huggies Pull-Ups potty training campaign, visit http://www.pottytraining.co.uk/promotions/the-huggies-pull-ups-potty-training-bus/
