The Famous Grouse launches Christmas personalised label campaign

The Famous Grouse has unveiled a new nationwide campaign allowing shoppers to personalise bottles and make someone special to them feel famous. Consumers who purchase a 70cl bottle of The Famous Grouse Finest can go online to the promotional microsite, enter the barcode from the bottle and redeem a free, personalised label. In addition, live label-making production pods enabling on-the-spot personalisation and sampling are being set up in selected stores. Maxxium UK marketing director Peter Sandstrom says: “No one makes us feel more famous than our friends and family. As a blended whisky, The Famous Grouse is about bringing people and processes together to create something truly unique. This campaign allows customers to create a gift personal to them, providing retailers with a unique offer to roll out in store.” Maxxium markets and distributes The Famous Grouse on behalf of brand owner The Edrington Group. The Famous Grouse has been the highest selling whisky in Scotland since 1980, with most of its sales coming at the Christmas period.
