Morrisons and Eisberg push alcohol-free days

Morrisons, alcohol-free wine brand Eisberg and the British Liver Trust are again running their ‘Love Your Liver’ campaign in January 2014. The activity sees pop-up health clinics being set up in selected Morrisons car parks to offer visitors free health advice and the chance to have a non-invasive liver test. Eisberg brand owner Halewood International will offer samples at the pop-up sites, and will explain to drinkers that “it is easy” to have a few alcohol-free days a week. The two companies are working with the British Liver Trust for the post-Christmas health push. The award-winning campaign allows members of the public to receive a free liver test and health check from a hepatoligist and promotes the message of taking two to three days off alcohol each week. In 2013, 495 members of the public had their livers tested during the nationwide tour. In 2014, the roadshow will be even bigger as it visits Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, London, Bristol and Cardiff. More information can be found at www.loveyourliver.org.uk
