Granby boosts team with client relationship manager

Leading response and fulfilment company Granby Marketing Services has appointed Suzanne Kay to the newly created position of client relationship manager. Kay was previously at the Direct Marketing Association Ltd, where she held the position of regional manager for four years and was responsible for the overall management, profitability and growth of the northern region, from Leicester to Scotland. Managing 167 corporate accounts, she achieved a retention rate of over 93% during her time there and developed new business leads to achieve targets of four new members each month. In her new role, Kay will be working with the head of client services and the account management team to undertake the development and delivery of business growth strategies for key clients, including Sainsbury’s, Nespresso, Scottish Power, Premier Foods and L’Oreal. Additionally, she will be managing internal and external relationships to develop critical customer service measures and identify and maximise on revenue opportunities. Joanne Varey, managing director of Granby Marketing Services, says: “Suzanne’s industry experience and business management skills will provide a valuable asset as we establish this new role within the business. Her proven track record in developing and maintaining relationships with key contacts, both internally and externally, will enable us to identify and capitalise on commercial growth opportunities as we move into 2014.”
