Clic and Walk, an app which rewards consumers for evaluating products and providing feedback on point-of-sale displays and other marketing activities, has been launched in the UK after proving a success in France. The Clic and Walk app recruits consumers to an online community, where they become ‘Clic Walkers’. They are then sent on ‘missions’, for example to hotels or supermarkets, to take photos and/or write short reviews in real time. They can earn rewards of up to £5 for submitting their content. Clic and Walk collated GPS-tagged photos and reviews from the Clic Walker community and can provide brands and businesses with a comprehensive overview of how consumers perceive their brand and how products are displayed at the point of sale on a regional and national scale. Clic and Walk is already working with global brands such as Ikea and Logitech. Frédérique Grigolato, chief executive officer of Clic and Walk says: “Clic and Walk has experienced 18 months of incredible growth with the participation of the largest community of consumers in Europe and dozens of retailers and well-reputed brands such as Ikea, Casino,Sika, and Logitech. We are delighted that the company is expanding its growth outside of France and now has a presence in the UK and Germany.” Clic and Walk was founded in May 2012 in Lille by Frédérique Grigolato and Guillaume André. The Clic and Walk app has been downloaded by more than 100,000 people so far.
