Swatch Valentine’s Day promo for ‘candied’ watch

Swatch is running a Twitter Valentine’s Day prize promotion challenging people to upload ‘candied’ pictures of themselves, to back to launch of its Sweet Love Valentine’s watch. Ten people judged to have the most creative entry will win one of the watches, while one will win a £1,600 travel voucher for a romantic getaway. The competition is open to anyone aged over 18, and runs from now until February 10th 2014. Entry is via www.sweetlove.swatch.com. In the UK, the Swiss watch brand has teamed up with the Metro free newspaper, which will be publishing the winning tweets. The competition is also being promoted via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and on Swatch’s website. Swatch ran a similar promotion last year, offering residents of the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Switzerland the chance to win one of 25 of its new Swatch Gent Valentine’s Day Special A La Folie watches as prizes. In addition, one entrant got a travel voucher worth €3,000.
