Pringles launches ‘Free Umbro Football Shirt’ promotion

Pringles has launched a new football-related on-pack promotion offering a limited edition football shirt designed exclusively for Pringles consumers by sportswear company Umbro. The Pringoooals 2014 campaign is running across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Consumers who buy two promotional packs can claim their shirts by going online to uk.umbro.pringles.com, inputting the unique codes found on-pack and making a small contribution (£3 in the UK). Consumers can choose from two colours – red and white or white and black. The campaign was created for Pringles by ATOM Marketing. The activity is featuring on millions of promotional cans across 27 countries in Europe and elsewhere. The Pringles brand was originally launched in 1967 by Procter & Gamble, which sold it to the Kellogg Co in 2012. Kellogg is supporting the promotion in the UK with a new global TV campaign running for six weeks throughout May and June 2014.
