Yorkie again offers shoppers chance to win tanks of fuel

Chocolate brand Yorkie is offering shoppers the chance to instantly win a ‘full tank’ of fuel as it brings back its successful Yorkie Fuel promotion for the third year running. The promotion will also see the brand back on TV. One hundred winning tickets have been hidden in promotional packs of Nestlé-owned Yorkie offering shoppers the chance to instantly win a ‘full tank’ of fuel. In addition, by going to the Yorkie Fuel website and entering the code found on the inside of promotional packs, shoppers have a further 50 chances to win a full tank of fuel plus thousands of standard Yorkie bars. What winners get will be a pre-paid debit card worth £100 which they can use to pay for fuel with. James Maxton, Nestlé UK & Ireland senior corporate communications manager, says: “With fuel costs continuing to increase this is an extremely motivating promotion, which has proved successful over the past two years. Our philosophy is therefore is ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ and we are delighted to be running this promotion for the third year.” Yorkie Fuel is running across standard and Duo singles with stock available from 21st April. The Yorkie ‘Man Fuel for Man Stuff’ TV advert will drive brand awareness to support the promotion, and is focussed on talking to men within the TV channel and programmes they watch the most.
