Licor 43 on-trade activity for UK consumer launch

Spanish liqueur Licor 43 is running a range of on-trade events this summer to support its consumer launch. A team of brand advocates is set to travel the country this summer to launch a number of different promotions offering consumers the chance to sample the iconic taste from their Spanish holidays. The first event takes place tomorrow (Saturday June 7, 2014) as part of Leeds Loves Cocktails Week at distrikt bar. The Licor 43 courtyard party will have live music, DJ sets and a special Licor 43 cocktail master class hosted by a brand advocate who will be giving demonstrations on how to create the perfect serve. A variety of different drinks incorporating Licor 43 have been created to match a bespoke Mediterranean menu created especially for the occasion. Other activity will take place in Yorkshire later in the year to celebrate the Tour De France, which starts in Leeds on Saturday July 5. Various Yorkshire hotels will be serving Licor 43 and the brand’s ambassadors will be running more events to celebrate the world’s biggest cycling race. Julia Bliss, Brand Manager says “these events are a great way to kick off our summer calendar of promotional activity that we have planned for this year with Licor 43. We are looking forward to engaging consumers with the Spanish tastes of the liqueur and bringing golden moments to the UK.” Licor 43 is a smooth golden Spanish liqueur available in selected Asda stores nationwide and online. It is distributed in the UK by specialist wines and spirits distributor Cellar Trends.
