Mondelēz International brands team up for Happy Summer Dayz

Mondelez International is running a cross-brand promotion, “Happy Summer Dayz”, across its portfolio of iconic chocolate, confectionery and coffee brands, which offers consumers the chance to win a family day out – and to give a day out to a charity. By entering a barcode from any participating product at www.happysummerdayz.co.uk, consumers will be able to enter a daily draw for the chance to win the day out for their family; if they win, they also give a day out to their choice of three charities – Make A Wish, Barnardo’s or Variety. The promotion will run across categories, on Mondel?z International products including Cadbury chocolate bags, blocks and bars, Carte Noire, Tassimo, Kenco, Kenco Millicano, Barny, Belvita, Mikado, Oreo, Ritz, Bassetts, Maynards, Cadbury Eclairs, The Natural Confectionery Co. and Trebor. Happy Summer Dayz will be supported by a marketing investment of more than £700,000, including outdoor advertising and a link-up with Global Radio, from 9th July to 27th August. Sally Fisher, customer development controller at Mondelez International, says: “Summer is a feel-good time of year – but sometimes it can be hard to find new activities for families to get out about and enjoy the sun together. We’re helping lucky winners to bring joy to their summer moments – and to some really worthy causes for families who are going through difficult times.” Mondelez International is a world leader in chocolate, biscuits, gum, candy, coffee and powdered beverages, with billion-dollar brands such as Cadbury, Cadbury Dairy Milk and Milka chocolate, Jacobs coffee, LU, Nabisco and Oreo biscuits, Tang powdered beverages and Trident gum.
