Financial services provider Police Mutual has been running experiential activity at this month’s Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, creating branded ‘stations’ where police officers keeping an eye on the crowds can relax on their breaks. Police Mutual offers its products exclusively to police officers, police support staff and their families. Stations in key locations showcase Police Mutual’s new corporate identity and raise brand and product awareness, while providing entertainment including games such as table football and air hockey, magazines, newspapers and TVs for the thousands of officers policing the games. The experiential activity was created by agency Cogent, which also designed the new Police Mutual corporate identity. Eve Clowes, Police Mutual’s head of membership, says: “We’re delighted with the stations and the experience they deliver. They are creating a great buzz and we’ve had some fantastic feedback from Police Officers who are pleased we are there to support them whilst they support the Games.” The stations will run throughout the Games and it is expected they will be have been used by around 11,000 officers.
