Wacky Warehouse launches new online presence with promotional functionality

Friday July 11, 2014 at 2:46pm
Wacky Warehouse, the UK's leading soft play centre for children, has launched a brand new website, which has been designed primarily to promote Wacky Warehouse’s new and improved range of party packages and to drive overall sales, but which also includes the ability to run competitions, prize draws and other promotional activity. The site was created for Wacky Warehouse by Manchester-based creative agency The if agency, which was appointed by Wacky Warehouse last year for an initial brand development project for three of its new UK sites. This is the first time the Wacky Warehouse site has been transactional; it now includes membership cards which can be purchased and used for unlimited monthly visits. It will also be used as a platform on which run promotions. The brief to The if team included customer journey planning, wireframe development and a full design, culminating in the generation of new transferable assets that will start to become visible across all brand communications. Jane Moore, group account director at The if agency, says: “A lot of soft play venues fall into the trap of only talking to children. That is, of course, important but it’s mum, dad or carer doing the actual planning, research and organising so a destination’s online presence needs to engage with the adult but without losing that essential sense of energy and fun.” The new Wacky Warehouse website is live now: www.wackywarehouse.co.uk
