Ginsters launches major on pack promotion with The Sun+

Ginsters, the Cornwall-based savoury pastry and sandwich brand, has tied up with The Sun+ for a major promotion which runs until the end of 2014. 20 million savoury products including Ginsters best sellers, the Original Cornish Pasty and the Peppered Steak Slice, will carry the promotional messaging and unique codes, which consumers have to enter on-line to get two months’ free membership of Sun+ Premiership goals, giving them access to live Premiership goals as they happen. In addition, consumers will get free access to The Sun+ portal and have the opportunity to receive exclusive offers and enter competitions. Mike Smith, head of brand marketing at Ginsters, says: “We are delighted to be partnering with Sun+ on what is a really exciting promotion for our consumers. Our consumers love football and they love The Sun, so to combine the two is a very attractive proposition.” Ginsters, leader in the UK savoury pastry sector, is experiencing healthy growth year-on-year. 2014 has seen the brand’s biggest ever marketing spend with a number of new products hitting the shelves, including H+EAT which launched earlier in the year.
