Decibel Nutrition launches with marketing campaign including couponing, experiential

New sports nutrition company Decibel is running a global marketing campaign including print, online, promotional, experiential, athlete sponsorship and PR activations. The product range was launched at Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Arnold EXPO in Madrid at the end of September, where visitors to the event were given €5 coupons redeemable at the Decibel stand. It is the first product of its kind in the market place offering high performance without compromising on taste. Decibel delivers a world first for Water Whey designed specifically to mix in water and boasts a purity level of 97%. Brand development and marketing agency, MINT, was responsible for branding, positioning and the development of the global campaign. MINT will be rolling out the second phase of the marketing over the next 12 months, including high-end brand partnerships and further events. Decibel’s USP is that unlike most whey-based sports nutrition drinks, which apparently taste ‘cheesy’, its flavours taste like everyday drinks rather than ‘sports drinks’, including Wild Berries, Cola and Lemon Meringue Pie.
