Burger King launches mobile app with digital coupons, menu and restaurant finder

Burger King has introduced a new mobile application to the UK and Ireland, as part of the expansion of its digital efforts. The rollout follows the success of the app’s launch in Spain, where more than 1.8 million downloads have been registered since it was released in April. This new mobile platform allows participating restaurants across the UK and Ireland to send people exclusive, personalised discounts. The app also features a store locator function, which provides users with information about the nearest restaurants. In addition, the menu function offers a complete guide to all Burger King products to assist customers through their restaurant experience. The platform has been designed to be easy to update and expand, and Burger King will add new features over time to keep it fresh and relevant. Bruno Lino, vice president and general manager, north division for Burger King EMEA, says: “Burger King is firmly committed to the mobile channel and we are constantly looking for ways to offer great value to our customers and encourage trial among new customers. This hassle-free and intuitive application gives our customers access to exclusive, personalised offers and provides another channel to maximise our customers’ experience.” The app is available to download from Google Play and the App Store.
