Coca-Cola has launched an on-pack giving consumers access to content for Ubisoft’s Just Dance Now game, as part of an ongoing global partnership between the soft drinks company and the games publisher. Coca-Cola is using the promotion to build awareness of its 250ml slimline cans launched in 2013. Each can will now feature a QR code which people can use to download the Just Dance Now mobile game for free. More than 50 tracks are available at launch, including the greatest hits from previous Just Dance games, and new ones will be added each week. The exclusive Coca-Cola track “Find your Move” will also be available for free to all Just Dance fans around the world. The promotion will run until March 2015 on 250ml slimline cans of Coca-Cola, Coke Zero and Diet Coke and retailers will be supported with POS materials to help increase in-store visibility. Caroline Cater, operational marketing director at Coca-Cola Enterprises, says: “The 250ml slimline Coca-Cola range was introduced in 2013 to deliver more choice, greater affordability and alternative pack sizes for consumers that are on-the-go and has performed extremely well since launch. The Just Dance Now promotion is a great opportunity to further build excitement and engage with the pack’s target audience.” The on-pack promotion is part of a massive marketing campaign behind the partnership, which included a major event in Paris in September including celebrity DJs and a public dance off challenge.
