Sacla’ appoints LIFE as lead as lead below-the-line agency

Sacla’, the Italian pesto and pasta sauce company, has appointed independent integrated agency LIFE as its lead below-the-line agency. LIFE will be responsible for producing all below-the-line communications for the Italian family-owned company. Its first task will be to create an in-store campaign as part of a wider integrated push due to roll out early 2015. Clare Blampied, Sacla' UK managing director, says: “LIFE has shown great understanding of the Sacla’ brand. What ultimately clinched it was the agency’s strong ideas, which were backed up by a supreme understanding of the complexities and opportunities in our category.” David Poole, joint managing director of LIFE, adds: “This win represents a fantastic opportunity to work with a market leader and an iconic brand. The popularity of Italian cuisine just seems to grow every year.”
