Sunmagic runs Hobbit 3 on-pack promotion

Drinks brand Sunmagic is running an on-pack promotion as part of its partnership with Warner Bros’ upcoming Christmas’ family blockbuster, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. Sunmagic, which produces a range of 100% pure fruit juice, smoothies and juice drinks, has been named as the exclusive soft drinks category partner for the film, which will be released in the UK & Ireland on December 12 2014. As part of the promotion, consumers can enter a competition to win a family holiday to the Warner Bros. studios in Los Angeles. Entry is online via Facebook and the competition is open until March 1 2015. The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is the final film in a trilogy adapting The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. The first two films have grossed over £90m in the UK and nearly $2bn worldwide so far. Razin Ali, Sunmagic’s brand manager, says: “We will be supporting the cinema partnership with high-profile marketing activity.” Ali adds: “Sunmagic has partnered a number of other popular family blockbusters over the last few years, including Turbo and How to Train Your Dragon 2, from Twentieth Century Fox. Partnering such high profile family blockbusters has hugely increased consumer recognition of the Sunmagic brand.” The Sunmagic brand is owned by Multiple Marketing Ltd.
