Branston Beans kicks off 2015 with ‘Great Days Out’ promo

Branston Beans is celebrating its 10th birthday with a New Year on-pack promotion to drive sales and reward shoppers. The ‘Great Days Out’ promotion will feature on 12 million promotional 4-packs of Branston Beans, giving shoppers the chance to win a range of prizes, including the £100 towards a ‘Great Day Out’. In addition to this, there are runner up prizes of £20 supermarket vouchers and £2.50 money off coupons towards their next purchase of Branston Beans. Shoppers can enter up to five times a day, with a limit of 20 entries per email address. Chris Wright, marketing director for Princes Foods, which manufactures Branston Baked Beans, says: “Baked beans are well-loved by UK consumers , with household penetration currently standing at 88.4%3.Branston Beans appeals across all ages and has a diverse shopper base, from younger shoppers and young families to loyal older shoppers. We’ve designed our latest promotion to appeal to this wide audience. The promotional packs are due to launch in store from January 2015. The Branston brand is now owned by Japanese food and condiments company Mizkan, which continues to manufacture the Branston pickles range; Branston Baked Beans, however, are made under license by Princes Foods, which is owned by Japanese conglomerate Mitsubishi.
