Ryobi promotes One+ range with £1,000 prize promo

Power tool company Ryobi is promoting its One+ range of power tools with a prize promotion where four consumers can win £1,000 of the company’s products. Video ads on YouTube and social media are encouraging viewesr to register for the Ryobi newsletter to be entered into a draw. Ryobi’s One+ range of products all use the same interchangeable battery pack, and the company’s marketing majors on the fact that this means consumers do not have to buy a battery with every power tool, which saves them money and also offers greater convenience. The competition closes on December 31 2014, after which the four winners will be drawn at random. They will then be able to put together a bundle of tools from a selection of nearly 50 different Ryobi products, up to a maximum retail value of £1,000. The Ryobi brand is owned by international group Techtronic Industries (TTI), a global manufacturer of power and petrol tools. TTI, which is based in Hong Kong, also owns brands such as AEG power tools, Hoover (in the US), Dirt Devil, and Vax floor care appliances.
