UK brewer Thwaites is running its biggest ever off-trade promotion, offering purchasers of its Wainright Golden Ale the chance to win Craghoppers jackets valued at around £100 each every week. Over 650,000 promotional bottles of Wainright with unique promotional codes are in store to buy throughout Christmas. Consumers simply have to visit the specially designed microsite to submit the code which will enter them into a weekly prize draw. Drinkers have a weekly chance to win their choice of a male or female Craghoppers jacket. As an added bonus, every entrant will also be given a 15% voucher to redeem at Craghoppers.com immediately after entry. Lee Williams, senior marketing manager at Thwaites, says: “We’re delighted to be ramping up activity for Wainwright across our off trade channels with this exciting partnership. There is an obvious synergy between Wainwright and Craghoppers.” Wainwright is the UK’s best-selling golden cask ale, and was created as a tribute to writer Alfred Wainwright, whose books about walking have become classics. Thwaites says the brand has seen a meteoric rise since its launch in 2007 and the brewer intends to continue to invest in its flagship brand in 2015 to ensure it remains at the forefront of the hrowing golden ale sector. The promotion ends at midnight on January 18 2015. People can enter as many times as they have unique codes. The weekly prizes are a Craghoppers Mens Kiwi Jackets or a Womens Madigan Jacket, branded with the Thwaites Wainwright logo.
