Memory Huddle targets marketers with incentive offering

Wednesday February 11, 2015 at 1:56pm
New consumer online digital tool Memory Huddle is courting marketers who may want to offer free subscriptions as promotional incentives. Memory Huddle is an easy-to-use digital tool which allows subscribers to upload photographs and videos to an interactive online timeline. It automatically organises content into a single, private, secure space where they can be shared with friends and loved ones and saved forever. Although the site is for consumers, the company behind it also believes that marketers will be interested in using it as a promotional tool for brands who want to acquire and retain customers. Memory Huddle’s partnerships director, Susan Speller, has considerable experience of the promotions industry. She most recently worked for promotions and incentives group P&MM and before that for VCG and PIMS-SCA, and was a Board Member of the Institute of Promotional Marketing. The idea is that brands can give promotional codes to customers to use to sign in to the service through a microsite or branded page. During the promotional period, brands can communicate with consumers through the site and, as subscription to Memory Huddle is a long term proposition with sign up beginning with a year's subscription, customers will be more inclined to maintain a long term relationship with the site and the brand. Memory Huddle allows users to uploaded content from digital devices and all main social media networks, to save and organise pictures and video, and invited friends and family to add their own comments. Unlike many social networks, Memory Huddle guarantees total privacy for all content which remains the property of the owner and will never be shared unless the owner chooses to do so. Memory Huddle will never use subscriber data for marketing purposes and will never host advertisements. Memory Huddle stores photos and videos in their original format with zero compression, and features include professional photo-editing functionality and built-in image protection technology which prevents the most common forms of image theft. Memory Huddle allows unlimited video uploads and access to up to 100GB of storage space.
