First Great Western takes giant colouring-in board on tour

Train operator First Great Western is challenging children and families to colour in giant pictures of key destinations it serves in an experiential tour of the South West of England. The campaign was put together for FGW by experiential agency Blackjack Promotions. The bespoke tour kicked off on March 14 at Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Spring Fayre in Watergate Bay, Cornwall. It will stop off at further events and locations throughout the year including: Devon County Show, May 21-23; Bath and West Show, May 27-30; Royal Cornwall Show, June 4-6; Henley Festival,July 8-12; Polo on the Beach at Watergate Bay, June 26-28; South Devon Crab, August 2; and Cornwall Food & Drink, September 25-27. First Great Western’s campaigns manager Jamie Anderson says: “Can you help paint your town? Showcasing the key destinations we serve across the South West, we invite you and your community to colour your area, or anyone else’s, and help us to champion the vibrant scenes and vivid landscapes we serve.” First Great Western provides high speed, commuter, regional and branch line train services, carrying more than 97 million passengers every year across the Greater Western rail franchise area, which includes South Wales, the Westcountry, the Cotswolds, and large parts of Southern England.
