WAMO app lets shoppers discover, share, win

Publishing and digital advertising tool WAMO has been relaunched with a new focus on incentivising consumers to share items they Love, Hate, Want and Need. By grabbing the image of an item and sharing it on their feed, users can create their own portfolio of recommendations to share with friends and so be in with a chance to win incentives from the brands they feature. Jeremy Stokes, co-founder of WAMO, says: “Consumers enter daily challenges to compete for the chance to win something they love. The mechanism we use for the challenge drives high-quality traffic to complete a task on the brand website through a native browser. Through this level of engagement, WAMO can provide detailed, real-time measurement to brands, enabling them to show engagement immediately which, in turn, can lead to potential sales.” WAMO co-founder Derek Lubner adds: “WAMO allows brands to advertise and promote their products with no waste and at a far lower CPE than Big Social. In the past, social media users have been rewarded on their followers, instead of actual engagement. WAMO helps brands to reward users that are proving they are fully interacting with them.”
