Cadbury launches ‘Fly Cadbury Air’ promotion

Cadbury is offering consumers the chance to win a weekend away by private jet in a new off-pack promotion. The Fly Cadbury Air promotion will give consumers the chance to jet off with one guest for a joy-packed weekend in one of five locations – Berlin, Monaco, Rome, Marrakech or Barcelona. The five trips up for grabs are inspired by five of Cadbury’s best-selling countlines; for example, the trip to Monaco is linked to number one countline Twirl and offers a number of exhilarating experiences such as whirling round a F1 racetrack in a Ferrari. The prize includes two nights accommodation in a four star hotel plus various experiences. There are four trips for two people available to be won for each destination, three trips for UK entrants and one for Republic of Ireland entrants. The promotion launched at the start of May, with consumers invited to text FLY to 67677 or enter at the promo website, www.flycadburyair.com. Cadbury will be drawing winners at random on May 29th, June 5th, 12th and19th and July 10th. Each of the trips is for a specific data – listed in the Terms & Conditions – and winners must be available to fly on the relevant date of forfeit the prize. Brand owner Mondel?z says Fly Cadbury Air follows the huge success of Cadbury’s Unwrap Joy and Win a Banger last year, which brought strong value to the singles category. The promotion will be supported by a £2m marketing investment including radio, PR, outdoor advertising and digital activity. Matthew Williams, Marketing Director at Mondel?z International, says: “We will inject excitement into the countlines category by giving our consumers the chance to win a joy-packed weekend away on the Cadbury private jet.”
