Kinder launches ‘Make Your Little One’s Art Famous’ campaign

Monday May 18, 2015 at 9:44am
Kinder has launched a new promotion offering parents the chance to have their child’s picture and artwork appear on the confectionery brand’s packaging. The ‘Make your little one’s art famous’ campaign is running across all the Kinder Chocolate products until the end of August. The campaign embraces the established brand strapline ‘invented for kids, approved by mums’ by asking parents to encourage their kids to get creative for a chance to see themselves on the front of Kinder Chocolate packs across the UK. Parents can enter and upload their children’s portraits via a bespoke microsite at www.kinderchocolate.com. This new competition goes further than any previous campaign, with three tiers of prizes for entrants. 1st tier winners will have their photographs and art portraits printed on to Kinder Chocolate packaging from February 2016; all valid 2nd tier entries will be featured on a 6-sheet digital panel in one high footfall location in both the UK and Ireland; and, finally, there are 3rd tier prizes of a colouring kit which can be won as part of the mop up draw. The promotion was created for Kinder brand owner Ferrero UK by promotional marketing agency B-Street London. Levi Boorer, Customer Development Director, Ferrero, comments: “The Kinder brand is one of our star performers, currently worth £93m thanks to 48% growth last year and is a household name that parents trust and their children love. We know that on pack competitions encourage shoppers to engage with the brand. Following the success of our ‘Face of Kinder’ campaign, we are excited to see the consumer response to ‘Make your little one’s art famous’.” The campaign will be highlighted through a bespoke TV tag, video on demand, digital and out of home. There will also be a range of point of sale materials to enable retailers to maximise the in-store theatre around this campaign.
