Mango Month trade promotion for Rubicon

AG Barr is promoting its Rubicon exotic fruit juice range with a retailer-only promotion celebrating Mango Month, which takes place in May each year. Retailers will have the chance to win over 5,000 instant win prizes include holiday vouchers, Rubicon-branded iPad Minis and money-off vouchers. Winning codes will be printed in the tray of special cases of one-litre and 288ml cartons and 330ml cans. Adrian Troy, AG Barr’s Head of Marketing, says: “Rubicon accounts for one third of all exotic flavours sold in the UK and is growing ahead of the soft drinks category at 9%. The brand is attracting more than 7,000 new consumers every day with 15 million consumers now drinking it.” Mango Month has been created to celebrate the new season mango crop, and last year it delivered a 50% uplift in Rubicon sales through displays and promotions, AG Barr claims. “Mango Month is now firmly established as a key sales driver for Rubicon, reinforcing its appeal to shoppers and highlighting it as a must-stock brand for all retailers nationally,” adds Troy.
