McDonald's restaurants in some California counties are asking people to nominate friends or family they think deserve to have a free breakfast delivered to them in a campaign called 'Race to Save Morning One Breakfast at a Time'. From now until the end of May, customers in the Sacramento, Stockton, and Modesto region can nominate a friend, family member or co-worker for a free breakfast consisting of either a Sausage Egg and Cheese McGriddles or an Egg McMuffin, accompanied by hash browns and small coffee. Nominators can send up to 10 breakfasts to the nominee and their co-workers, which will be delivered to any non-residential address in participating counties. Customers in the participating areas can use their mobiles or Twitter. To nominate, customers can either text the phrase "amlove" to 24587 or send a tweet on Twitter using the hashtag #ncalAMshares. They will be sent the link to the nominations webpage. Winners of free breakfast will be selected on a first come first serve basis and deliveries will happen in McDonald's branded cars starting June 1st and ending June 6th, during McDonald's breakfast hours. The first 420 nominations will win the free breakfasts. There are over 160 McDonald's Restaurants in the Greater Sacramento/Stockton/Modesto Area, owned and operated by more than 54 franchisees. The breakfast give-away is being run by the local Northern California Golden Arches Association.
