mcm creative group appoints first Creative Director

Events, experiential activation and film specialists mcm creative group has appointed Mark Nicholls to the newly-created role of Creative Director. With more than 20-years’ experience in brand communications and design, Nicholls joins the team to build upon the continuing growth in their creative communications offering across live events, film, digital and experiential. He will be responsible for developing creative solutions, planning and processes for the agency and its clients. This will involve taking a lead role on all creative projects, services and strategy. He is also joining the agency’s senior leadership team, with a key role to play in the group’s future growth strategy. His career includes stints at agencies BrandFuel, Action Impact and GPJ, where he worked with clients such as Rolls-Royce, Google, Orange, IBM, Twitter and UEFA, as well as nine years in-house at Mascolo Group, where he worked with luxury brands such as TONI&GUY and TIGI. Emma Bradbury is also joining the mcm team as a Junior Project Manager. Bradbury comes from Compass Group, and has worked in the events and experiential industry for five years, with brands such as John Lewis, HSBC, PepsiCo, KPMG and Microsoft. The appointments are the latest in a series of growth-led changes at mcm, and in advance of a planned office move from Hammersmith to bigger premises in Kew.
