Marlboro to run Ducati trade promotion

Marlboro, the Philip Morris International owned cigarette brand, is running a Ducati-themed trade promotion aimed at retailers visiting selected Dhamecha and Bestway outlets across the UK. The promotion will see a Ducati bike appearing in a number of cahs and carry stores at the start of August to drive awareness of two Philip Morris deals. The activity follows a successful trade campaign using a Ferrari in Dhamecha Hayes and Bestway Abbey Road depots earlier this year (pictured). The two deals offer cash discounts off the price of purchases which include Marlboro Touch cigarettes or Marlboro Gold Roll Your Own tobacco. Tobacco retailers who participate in the promotion will also be entered into a draw to win Moto GP tickets plus there will be instant prizes to win. Although it is illegal in the European Union to run promotions which target consumers, tobacco manufacturers can run activity which targets the retail trade.
