McCoy's launches 'Win Your Club' Football League promotion

McCoy’s is launching its second season as the Official Crisp Partner of the Football League with a ‘Win Your Club’ on-pack promotion and heavyweight marketing campaign. Kicking off in August to coincide with the start of the new Football League season, the ‘Win Your Club’ promotion will run until November 2015 across select handypack and multipack SKUs. The promotion offers an array of ‘money-can’t-buy’ prizes, including a ‘Win Your Club’ ultimate package which gives entrants behind the scenes access, the chance to meet the team and front the media. Fans will also be able to get their hands on thousands of free tickets and branded merchandise such as football scarves. To enter, consumers have to go to http://www.mccoysfootball.co.uk and input the last four digits of the barcode number plus the four digit time code from the back of the pack. They then have to select the team they support. They will then be entered into a ‘winning moments’ draw to see if they have won an instant prize. If they can then answer a question about their chosen club correctly, they are also entered into a draw for the chance to win one of the five ‘Win Your Club’ prizes. These include both a non-match day experience, where the winner and a guest get to watch the first team train, meet the manager and players, get free team kit and other behind the scenes access, or match day experiences, including tickets for sic people the a match, hospitality and involvement in choosing the ‘Man of the Match’. The promotion builds on the insight that a supporter’s team is part of their identity and leverages the community appeal of Football League clubs. Jeff Swan, marketing director at KP Snacks, says: “McCoy’s is worth over £105m and 2015 is a huge year for the brand. Last month we transformed McCoy’s with a modern, bold new look across the entire range. But we’re not stopping there; we’re following this up with further media activity, plus our continued partnership with the Football League and our brilliant ‘Win Your Club’ promotion.”
