Tracker, the Mars-owned cereal bar brand, is celebrating its 30th birthday with a ‘30,000 miles ‘Off The Beaten Track’ campaign in partnership with outdoor adventurer and Olympic medallist James Cracknell and the Woodland Trust. The nationwide campaign, which launched earlier this month, will run until September and aims to get UK families to walk 30,000 miles off the beaten track together. Consumers looking for inspiration can download James Cracknell’s guide to walking from the Tracker website, www.tracker-bar.co.uk, where they can also find educational content about woodlands and a link to the Woodland Trust site. . The guides on the site offer hints and tips on making the most out of walks, from DIY obstacle courses to tracking animal footprints and identifying trees and birds, as well as advice on suitable clothing and equipment. Following research that reveals Brits are exploring the great outdoors less than ever before, the campaign urges consumers to register on the Tracker website and make a pledge to walk a certain distance. Everyone who makes a pledge will be entered into a prize draw to win a selection of Tracker bars.
