Malaysia Night, a vibrant, bustling market dedicated to Malaysian food, music, culture and entertainment returns to Trafalgar Square for the sixth year running tomorrow, Friday September 18. The event is organized by marketing agency whynot! on behalf of the Malaysian Government trade organization, Matrade, and is part of a regular sampling and experiential roadshow program which offers the chance for people to sample Malaysian and culture. Malaysian entertainment will add to the ambience of the day with performances from traditional dancers and musicians and this year visitor numbers are expected to reach 60,000. There will be cooking demonstration from John Torode, just back from Malaysia where he has been filming a new series called ‘John Torode’s Malaysian Adventure’ airing on UKTV Food in 2016; Ping Coombes (MasterChef 2014 winner); and Norman Musa, Europe’s best known Malaysian chef. A Malaysian market will provide people with all the products they need to take home and enjoy the Malaysian experience. The event is being supported on the Malaysia Kitchen website, www.malaysiakitchen.co.uk, Facebook and Twitter.
