TRO expands in Spain with Madrid office

Experiential agency TRO has expanded its Spanish operations with the opening of a new office in Madrid, complementing its existing Barcelona office, which opened in January 2014, TRO Spain provides experiential solutions for a host of leading brands including Nike, Telefonica, Swarovski, Real Madrid, Havaianas and Meetic. Alberto Almar, Managing Director TRO Spain, will look after both offices and a team of 35 client service, creative and production talent. The new TRO office opens as a direct result of growing business in Spain and the rest of the EMEA region. The picture shows the TRO Madrid team outside the agency's London headquarters. Michael Wyrley-Birch, Chief Operating Officer TRO EMEA, says: “We are increasingly receiving client briefs that require TRO to have expertise in multiple markets. We continue our strategy to expand our global agency model opening offices in local regions, while working as one agency unit with a consistent vision and culture, to ensure we are well placed to respond to client requirements for regional contracts.” Alberto Almar, Managing Director, TRO Spain, adds: “We are excited about the new team joining us in Madrid, and adding to our pool of fantastic talent, looking after some existing and new clients across Spain. The agency won multiple trophies in the IPM Awards 2015, including three Golds for campaigns for Nissan, BMW and Lucozade.
