With today's announcement still sinking in that the UK now faces a General Election on 8th June, the IPM considers the views from today.
Uncertainty has been ruling conversations over the past few hours with speculation on what position this Election may create for the UK.
Over the past few months, the IPM has been working with its Members to understand the impact of changes since Brexit; about the passion and commitment to drive our skills, talent and creative base forward. Through the Ad Association, the IPM has communicated more of the views of the wide spread promotional marketing industry that contributes so much to the UK economy to establish the case beyond advertising for our industry.
With the IPM Awards taking place the night before the proposed General Election, we will bear witness to another change in this extraordinary year.
Whatever changes we may see in Government, recognition of the incredible contribution from this sector must be sought.
