The IPM Awards 2016

We saw outstanding results during the 2015 Awards with incredible campaigns from all corners of the UK. Each year, the IPM launches Awards to recognise the best campaigns and reward the blood, sweat and tears that go into making the best in promotional marketing possible. 

Below you'll find links to take you through the right Category choices, how you can enter and how to create the best possible entry you can.

It's worth remembering that:

  • Your activity does not need to have taken place in the UK, as long as you are UK based agency or promoter your activity can have taken place anywhere in the world. If your campaign took place across more than one territory them you should consider entering in our 'Cross-territory' category.
  • Remember that for most of our categories the focus is on effective use of channels and methods, so for example, even if social media or on- pack wasn't the main part of the campaign, but you think it was excellent; then you should consider entering it â€‹
  • You don't have to be an IPM Member to enter​ - call the team for advice about entering or simply follow the steps below

Every year, we're asked what makes a winning entry

It’s the question we are asked most of all. Many elements make up winning entries; from clever concepts brilliantly executed to creative genius that changed the behaviour of the consumer on the spot.

To make sure you get the best out of your entry process, talk to us about which Categories are best for your campaign and what you need to submit. Results matter as does outstanding creative - this is your chance to tell the story of your campaign beautifully.

It’s simple and straightforward to enter The IPM Awards. If you are an IPM Member, don't forget to log in to take advantage of Member discounts and multiple entry discounts. Entry is open to non-Members too - call us for any advice you need on entering!

Terms and conditions of entry: Please make sure you have read and understood the terms of entry

Judging criteria and guidelines for each category in full: its important to understand exactly how your entry will be judged as not all awards are the same. Here we detail the weighting judges are asked to give against promotional effectiveness, clarity of objectives and how the results reflect the objectives set, how the budget was used and of course, creativity. Some categories of course have different weighting so read carefully what is expected.
