Entry Criteria Company of the Year

Entry for The IPM COGS 2014 is now closed; the shortlist will be announced on August 15th, and the trophies will be awarded at a Gala Lunch to be held at the Grange Hotel, St Pauls, on September 19th.

The IPM COGS 2014 Company of the Year award recognizes the achievements, outstanding work and contribution of a service provider to the promotional marketing industry.    

The entry submission should be no more than 1,500 words, and should be submitted using our online entry form. 

It should cover the last three years – May 2011 to May 2014.    

Judges will be looking for information under the following headings:   

1.   Business objectives and analysis of performance against objectives 

2.   Client growth and retention strategy 

3.   Understanding and demonstration of innovation in terms of new products and services 

4.   Summary of business achievements 

5.   One case study which showcases what the company does best (include details of brief, budget, innovation and a client testimonial) 

6.   One endorsement from a client other than that in the case study 

7.   Investment and development of staff 

8.   Contribution to raising the profile and standards of the UK Promotional Marketing industry 

9.   Brief overview of why this company is worthy of winning the ‘Company of the Year’ title   

Supplementary information will also be required. This will remain confidential, for judges' eyes only:   

1.   Date of incorporation 

2.   Actual turnover for each of the last three (3) financial years + projection for the coming year 

3.   Actual net profit for each of the last three (3) financial years + projection for the coming year 

4.   Number of staff employed: full-time, part-time, executive, specialist, support   

Supplementary information – which may be made public in the event this entry is shortlisted:   

1.   100 word executive summary (in a Word document) of the entry.   

NOTE: This text may be used in PR and other collateral, so it should not contain any confidential information.   

2.   Two (2) images to illustrate the entry (300dpi in JPEG, GIF or PNG formats).   

NOTE: These images are not part of the judging process.  They may be used at the Awards ceremony and/or for future marketing collateral for the COGS awards and/or for other use by the IPM such as web content, case studies or educational material.   

3. Your company logo (300 dpi in JPEG, GIF or PNG).
