Finance & Operations Manager

Overview

The IPM is looking for a process driven individual to help manage office processes focused around Finance and Operations. The role will also play a vital role in implementing a new CRM system.     

The Role

Split into two main functions, this role interacts with the whole IPM team working particularly closely with the Member Services team and the Managing Director.   

The Finance element includes:

- raising invoices

- tracking payments due

- making external payments

- reporting   

The Operations element includes:

- managing outsourced partners

- general office management such as ordering stationary supplies, tracking holiday etc

- preparing board documentation and meetings     

Experience & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

- Have 2+ years’ experience working in a relevant role

- Be highly organised and process driven

- Have a head for numbers, possibly with accounting qualifications and/or knowledge of Sage or Zero accounting systems

- Be able to work in a team and have good communication skills

- A positive can-do attitude, pitching in with the rest of the team when needed, and the ability to have fun along the way
