Head of Marketing
Overview
This is a great opportunity for a Marketer at Senior
Account Manager or Account Director level looking to develop their career with
a leading marketing trade body. It's a chance to create and oversee the
implementation of a fresh new marketing strategy, receive exposure to the
industry and gain a high level/strategic view of many different areas of
marketing including digital, shopper, experiential, legal, international and
much more.
The role
Your overall goal will be to deliver excellent marketing
and communications, showcasing the best of the industry and developing
strategies to showcase the IPM as a thought leader. You will create and
implement a full marketing strategy for the IPM to include:
- A complete website revamp bringing several
online entities under one roof
- Member and industry communications on all
platforms
- Supporting the core IPM services including
Legal, Training, Events and Awards
- Developing the IPMs brand presence
- Maintaining press relations
- Supporting membership services team in
retention, engagement and growth of membership
This role has two direct reports: Social Media Manager;
and Intern
Experience & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have
- 3-5 years industry experience (agency experience
preferred)
- Experience in creating and managing marketing
and communications across a broad spectrum, including social media
- Experience in managing a website redesign and
launch
- A positive can-do attitude, pitching in with the
rest of the team when needed, and the ability to have fun along the way
