Playstation School's Cup Festival May 2018

PLAYSTATION SCHOOLS’ CUP FESTIVAL MAY 2018 CROSS BAR CHALLENGE

PROMOTER: Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, 10 Great Marlborough Street, London W1F 7LP, United Kingdom

1.       ELIGIBILITY: This Promotion, is only open to legal residents of the United Kingdom, aged 11 years of age or older (“Participant”). Employees of the Promoter, Sony PlayStation, English Schools’ Football Association (ESFA), HPS Jardine, Circle Agency or any other company linked to the promotion in any way and their immediate families are not eligible to enter the competition  

2.       PROMOTIONAL PERIOD: The Promotion will take place at the Madjeski stadium, Reading, during the half time break of the football matches played between [08.30 BST on Monday 21st May 2018 and 20.30 BST on Wednesday 23rd May 2018] (the "Promotional Period").  

3.       HOW TO ENTER: At each of the 5 matches on the three days, the Promoter will pick up to a maximum of 5 Participants at random from the audience (so a maximum of 75 participants in total), who, during the half time break within the match will be invited onto the pitch to kick a football (supplied), from the arc of the penalty box with the aim of hitting the crossbar of the goal (“Crossbar Challenge”). Each Participant will be allowed one practice kick that is not eligible to win the prize, before their official attempt at the Crossbar Challenge. Only one entry per Participant per match is allowed.  

4.       The Crossbar Challenge for each match will be ended if a Participant successfully hits the cross bar and no more attempts will be allowed. If none of the Participants within a match successfully complete the Crossbar Challenge then the prize will not be awarded.  

5.       All Participants are required to sign a liability release form which includes an affidavit of eligibility and consent to participate in any reasonable publicity. For those aged 11-17 this must be signed by a parent or guardian.  

6.       Winner Selection: The Winner will be the first Participant in each match to hit the crossbar of the goal with the football on their official attempt.  

7.       The Prizes: Winners of the Crossbar Challenge will win 1x PlayStation PS4 (500Gb) Console. All Participants, whether successful or not, will receive a PlayStation branded t-shirt and foam hand  

8.       Prize Delivery: Winners will be able to collect their prize at the event, however if a Winner is under the age of 16, signed parental consent will be required before the prize can be released. If parental consent is not provided within 5 days of the winning event, the prize will be supplied to the Winner’s school for charitable use.  

9.       The prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part. In the event for any reason the prize winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize. If for any reason a prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another prize for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.  

10.   As a condition of accepting the prize, Winners shall, at the Promoter’s request, participate in reasonable promotional activity surrounding the winning of the prize, for no further consideration, and they consent to the Promoter using their name and images in promotional material which includes social media.   

11.   If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of weather, match delays, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or invalidate any affected entries  

12.   Conditions of Participation/Exclusion: By entering, Participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions including all eligibility requirements. The Participant represents and warrants that he/she has the right and authority to enter into this Promotion on his/her own behalf and he/she has the right to assign the entry to The Promoter on the terms set out herein. 

13.   The Promoter may disqualify any Participants that do not act in accordance with these Terms & Conditions and/or SIEE’s user agreement and policies or who are suspected to have been involved in any fraudulent or illegal activity. The use of any measures to manipulate the Promotion is forbidden and shall lead to the disqualification of the Participant.

14.   The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion, undertaking the Crossbar Challenge or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.  

15.   The Promoter shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims including, without limitation, to require further verification as to the identity, age, and other relevant details of a participant. If a Participant or Winner is deemed not to comply with these Terms and Conditions, the entrant will not be awarded a prize.  

16.   Participants agree that The Promoter has not made nor is in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, statutory, express or implied (including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, title, and fitness for a particular purpose), in fact or in law, relative to the prize. The Promoters failure to enforce any term of these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision.  

17.   Data Protection: Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party (other than the Promoter’s agencies for the purpose of servicing/implementing the promotion and prizes) without the individual’s prior consent. Personal data is only processed for the purposes of participating in the Promotion.  

18.   The name and counties of the winners will be available by visiting the website www.winners-list.co.uk within three months of the Closing Date.  

19.   Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.

PLAYSTATION® 4 GT SPORT FASTEST LAP

By entering the promotion, entrants will be deemed to be bound by and have accepted these terms and conditions. These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Please keep a copy for your records.

2.       Eligibility: This promotion is open to pupils attending Madejski Stadium, Junction 11, M4, Reading RG2 0FL aged 11 or over, attending the PlayStation Schools Cup Festival within their school (entrants must attend the location in person to enter the promotion). Employees and their immediate families of, or anyone professionally connected to, Sony PlayStation, Circle Agency Ltd and staff at the event are excluded from participation.  

3.       No purchase necessary. Acceptance of these terms & conditions is a condition of entry.  

4.       Limited to one entry per person.  

5.       Promotion Timing: The promotion opens at 09:00 on from Monday 21st May – Wednesday 23rd May and finishes at 20:30 every live day.  

6.       GT SPORTS Competition Entry Requirements: To enter, visit the PlayStation stand in the Madejski Stadium Concourse and drive a lap on the Gran Turismo game on the console with steering wheel and pedal. Entrants must provide their name to enter and school to enter.  

7.       The entrant with the fastest lap at the end of the day will win a prize. The car and race track will be the same throughout the competition.  

8.       Prize: the 3 x  Winners of the GT Fastest lap will receive; ·         1x PlayStation® Game Bundle ·         X1 PlayStation® Game Bundle will be won per day  

9.       There is no cash or other alternative for the prize in whole or in part except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value at the choosing and discretion of the Promoter.  

10.    Winner Notification: The 1 x winner per day of the GT SPORTS Competition will be notified by a representative from Sony PlayStation on the day or if the winner if not present a representative the gift will be sent to the winner within 7 working days.  

11.     The Winner does not have a choice of prize; they can only accept the specific prize offered to them. There is no cash alternative to the stated prizes.  Prizes cannot be transferred.

5.       The competition applies to game play of EA SPORTS™ FIFA 18 game on the PlayStation 4 Pro console, located on the concourse at the Madejski Stadium only.  

6.       To enter: Spectators attending PlayStation Schools Cup Festival at Madejski Stadium, will be able to enter the competition, which will take place on the main tournament screen situated on the concourse, by asking the PlayStation Brand Ambassador running the competition and awaiting their turn on a first come first served basis.

7.     The entrant who has scored the most goals at the end of the day will win a prize. Every game played in each round will be set up in the same way (although the player can choose whatever team they like).

8.       The Main Prize Winner at the end of each day will be the participant who scores the most goals within one 8 minute game of FIFA 18. There will be one winner per day. If there is more than one entrant with the same top score, all entrants with that score will be entered into a free prize draw and one person will receive the prize for that day. Entrants will only be able to enter into the competition once.  

9.       PRIZES: There will be 1 x Main Prize Winner per day who will win 1 x PlayStation golden DS4 controller.    

10.   Prizes will be allocated by the PlayStation representative on the stand. The winner’s prize will then be sent to the school of the winning participant.  Winners do not have a choice of prize; they can only accept the specific prize offered to them, according to the tournament won. Players enter the competition by requesting to play to the brand ambassador running the competition and will be given access on a first come first served basis. Entrants will be required to sit back to back and take it in turns to score penalties.

7.    The entrant who has scored the most penalties at the end of the day will win a prize. Every game played in each round will be set up on the penalty mode using the World 11 team.

8.       The Main Prize Winner at the end of each day will be the participant who scores the most penalties within one 8 minute game of FIFA 18. There will be one winner per day. If there is more than one entrant with the same top score, all entrants with that score will be entered into a free prize draw and one person will receive the prize for that day. Entrants will only be able to enter the competition once.  

9.       PRIZES: There will be 1 x Main Prize Winner per day who will win 1 x PlayStation game bundle.

Each Participant will be allowed one practice kick that is not eligible to win the prize, before their official attempt at the Top Bins Challenge. Only one entry per Participant per match is allowed.  

4.       The Top Bin Challenge for each match will be ended if a Participant successfully hits the football into the bin and no more attempts will be allowed. If none of the Participants within a match successfully complete the Top Bin Challenge then the prize will not be awarded.  

5.       All Participants are required to sign a  consent form to participate in any reasonable publicity. For those aged 16 and under will need this signed by a parent or guardian.  

6.       Winner Selection: The Winner will be the first Participant in each match to hit the football into the bin attached to the goal with the football on their official attempt.  

7.       The Prizes: Winners of the Top Bin Challenge will win 1x PlayStation PS4 (500Gb) Console. All Participants, whether successful or not, will receive a PlayStation branded t-shirt and foam hand.

18.   Data Protection: Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party (other than the Promoter’s agencies for the purpose of servicing/implementing the promotion and prizes) without the individual’s prior consent. Personal data is only processed for the purposes of participating in the Promotion.  

19.   Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction unless you live in another part of the UK in which case your local courts will have jurisdiction.
