Full Terms & Conditions

  • These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by entering this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions.
  • The Promoter: Sodexo Motivation Solutions UK Limited, Avalon House, Breckland, Milton Keynes, MK14 6LD
  •  Eligibility: The Promotion is open to Marketing Agencies based in the UK and Ireland, excluding anyone professionally connected with the promotion and their immediate families. 
  • Promotion Period: The promotion opens to entries on the 10th July 2019 and closes on 30th September 2019 inclusive. 
  • To Participate: To enter this promotion the Marketing Agency must provide a brief that is live (live is defined as a genuine brief where Cinema related incentives can be considered by their Client) and sent to info@filmology.co.uk  ian.lacey@sodexo.com and Theresa.moore2@sodexo.com
  • Specific Requirements:
  1. A live brief which the agency is looking to implement in the next 6 calendar months.
  2. The promotion must be run in UK or Ireland.
  3. If the brand is considering gift (cinema ticket) with purchase, the purchase value of the product needs to exceed £10.00 in value.
  4. Prize: There are a maximum of ten prizes of Cineworld tickets available to be won.  Each prize contains ten Cineworld Adult 2D tickets for use for multiple members of the organisation, not just the individual.
  5. For all participants:  Following receipt of a brief, the participant will be contacted within 24 hours (Mon – Fri 09:30 – 17:00 excluding Bank Holidays) to qualify the brief and will be notified within a further 24 hours of contact by the Promoter to confirm that the brief has met the qualifying criteria.  See section on, “To Participate”.
  6. Once the Promoter has approved the brief (see specific requirements above to qualify), the Agency will be provided with 10 X 2D Adult Cineworld Cinema Tickets via e-code, that will have a defined closing date.  The tickets will be dispatched within 30 days of the brief being approved.
  7. The promotion is limited to the first ten Marketing Agencies to submit qualifying briefs.   Entries submitted once all ten prizes have been issued, will not be valid for a prize, however the brief can still be discussed with the Promoter.
  8. Prize Terms & Conditions: Each Cineworld Adult 2D ticket will be issued in the form of an eCode.  Each eCode can be exchanged for one adult or child entry ticket for a standard 2D performance of the ticket holders choice at any participating Cineworld cinema in the UK and Ireland (excluding Cineworld Leicester Square and Picture House Cinemas) excluding occasions where the cinema has been hired for special performances.  Always check screening times and availability before travelling.
  9. Each eCode must be redeemed before 1st January 2020, after this date the eCodes will be invalid and cannot be extended or replaced.
  10. Please note that each Cineworld eCode can only be used once to book a cinema admission online at www.cineworld.co.uk, or exchanged for a ticket at the box office of any Cineworld cinema box office (not valid for redemption via the Cineworld telephone booking service).  When booking online using the Cineworld eCode, credit/debit card information must be provided (for processing purposes) and a booking/processing fee per person for whom a seat is booked will apply (full T&Cs are available at www.cineworld.co.uk/terms). Participants who do not wish to pay the booking/processing fee should exchange their eCode for a ticket in person at the cinema box office.
  11. Entry to cinema is subject to availability, the cinema ticket does not give the bearer priority over other customers.
  12. Uplift charges for 3D, 4DX, D-Box, IMAX and Superscreen are payable.  Uplift charges for Glasgow – IMAX at GSC also apply.
  13. eCodes can only be upgraded directly at the box office and are not valid for Alternative Content, Special Unlimited Screenings, Special Advance Screenings or VIP/premium seating.
  14. There is no cash alternative and no other benefits, items or additions for the cinema tickets.  The cinema tickets are not transferable and may not be resold.
  15. Cineworld reserve the right to refuse admission or request that the claimant provide proof of age upon entry to the screening.  Admission to any cinema is subject to Cineworld’s Standard Terms and Conditions which can be found at www.cineworld.co.uk/terms
  16. It will be at the Promoters sole decision as to whether any eligibility requirement has or has not been met and the Promoter may require evidence or confirmation from participants  before awarding the prizes.  See the section above on “To Participate”
  17. Deficient entries: The Promoter is not liable for any technical problems preventing participation and assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction of or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, or non-receipt of, entries. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by the Promoter or an entrant because of technical problems, operator problems, social media site problems, traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to any participant's or any other third person's, resulting from any participation or downloading any materials in the promotion.
  18. Automated Entry: the use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits any person to enter any promotion repeatedly is prohibited. No bulk, consumer group or third party entries will be accepted. These entries will be disqualified.
  19. Names: entrants must enter promotions using their full legal name, alongside the full company name. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant who uses multiple names / company names or any false names / companies and to require them to return to the Promoter any prize they may have won.
  20. No person or Marketing Agency may enter any promotion more than once and persons may not enter or participate as part of a syndicate or on behalf of any other person, syndicate, group, society or company, other than the specific Marketing Agency it is entering as.
  21. Retrospective Effect: where an entrant has not complied fully with the generic terms and specific promotion terms, or has been found to be in breach of any of the terms and conditions of a promotion and in particular where a person is in breach of the entry restrictions, the Promoter may nevertheless still enforce our right to disqualify that person / company and require the return or reimbursement to us of any prize even where a prize has already been awarded and/or actually provided to the entrant or prizewinner in question.
  22. No fees shall be payable to any entrant in relation to their entry in any promotion.
  23. The Promoter will not be liable for any prizes which are lost, delayed, or damaged in the post for reasons beyond our control.
  24. Where prizes are to be delivered to the work address / personal address / e-mail address, the prize will only be delivered to an address within the UK and will only be sent once. Should a prize winner's contact details change, it is their responsibility to notify us or the contact persons for the relevant promotion.
  25. All prizes are subject to availability, non transferable and non exchangeable. 
  26. Any tax payable as a result of a prize being awarded or received will be the responsibility of the winner. Winners should seek independent financial advice prior to accepting a prize if this is a concern.
  27. No additional, further or other costs or expenses are included in any prize unless expressly stated. For example, the costs of transport to and from a venue or an event, parking charges, gratuities, excursions, spending money and other costs of a personal nature, are not included.
  28. If required by a regulatory authority, and/or if we consider it lawful, necessary or appropriate to do so, we may elect to make available a list of winner’s surname and/or county to members of the public or regulators who request such details within 3 months of the closing date of this Promotion. Entrants can object to disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope. We may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so. You may request a copy of the winner’s list by sending a SAE to Sodexo Motivation Solutions UK Limited, Avalon House, Breckland, Milton Keynes, MK14 6LD, FAO Ian Lacey. We reserve the right to refuse any or all such requests.
  29. If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion modify or suspend the promotion or invalidate any affected entries/claims. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.
  30. The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the promotion and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent.   31. The application and interpretation of these terms and conditions shall be governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute concerning them unless your residential address is in Scotland, when Scottish law applies or in the Republic of Ireland, when Irish law applies.
